Relaunching 1.31 IU servers?

Hello.

Well it's up to Your activity if servers will be back on 1.31 or not. I am satisfied with 1.30 too, but if you guys want some 1.31 action, post here.

If I manage to get a place at the university's hostel, I'll try to host a more or less permanent )S( server (if U guys and girl want it :P) If this will happen, I'll need the minimal specs of a dedicated, 24 or 32 player, server.

Btw It would be nice to have a normal ctf srv on 1.30 too... or an 1.30 type on 1.31

Indeed, a good idea would be to host a )S( server on 1.30 also with 1.30 settings.

Since launching a server for 4 people on 1.31 will not happen, why not launch it on 1.30 for everyone there, thus, adding activity.

Launching a )S( server on 1.30 would be nice..
I dunno why, but all of the sudden every server worthy of playing (on 1.30) started to use that f_cked up Revolution mod, which, as I see it, sux ass... Every damn time I'm trying to connect to 6006, I get disconnected because of my game not being pure... or at least that's what the console is saying. I removed every little bit of my extra maps and skins, and still won't let me play.. Btw, I checked the console, it says that I'm unpure, but after I scrolled some more, I saw a list which contained my pk3 files, all of them were pure... strange.. isn't it?

I've done a great amount of research and it seems that revolution is better than IU1.1 or IU1.2betaX in every possible way.
If the server is unpure then everyone can join it without an autodownload.
And if it is pure, then you have to make a clean quake, autodownload the mod, and you're in.

I think you forgot to erase something bro, or, you have something basic in your quake that is messed up.
Anyway, on MSN we'll figure it out. =]

Revolution is really something awesome, considering that your shots are delivered 20% more accurately, and the hitbox is the same of course.

I rather 1.31 couz i can't find any servers in 1.30 >_< but for now i don't play that much IU,couz no GSG9 ;(.
For long time i play defrag and i keep playing it now.I hope Merc make 1 server and our clan to play finaly(like the old times >_<).Still however there is no good IU server in 1.31 i will play defrag.

Try using GamespyArcade mate. It's like ASE, but it's a lot more noobish, and it's full of advertisments from IGN and FileFront but atleast it works.
Btw 1.30 is full of people, and there are about 6 IU servers. It's a pity that Q3 can't always see them...

I am not making any servers on 1.31, and even if I do, it will still run 1.30 cfg like it or not.
